Ascent Solutions is an IT company in Meridian, Idaho, founded in 2026 by Justin Wilborn — an IT leader with twenty years of experience, including six years building and running a managed services company here in the valley. We provide computer repair and managed IT support for small businesses of one to fifteen users across Meridian, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell, and AI and automation work for businesses whose technology is already stable.

Twenty years in IT — starting as a teenager, then growing into solution design, networking, identity, and the cloud. I founded a managed-services company in Boise and grew it over six years before moving on. Today I'm a Director of IT, and a lifelong builder of the systems that keep businesses running.
Here's the pattern I kept seeing while running an MSP, and it is why this business exists. The companies that needed help most were the ones nobody would take — four computers, eight computers, a dozen. Too small to be profitable for a firm built around twenty-five-seat clients, so they got a polite no. Then the owner became the IT department by accident, the backup went untested for three years, and eventually something failed that should not have been able to fail.
That gap is what Ascent Solutions is for. Computer repair when something breaks, and proper managed IT support for offices too small for the big firms to bother with — patching, monitoring, backups that actually get tested, and someone who answers the phone.
The AI and automation work is real too, and it is genuinely unusual for a shop this size. But it comes second on purpose. Automating a business whose computers crash weekly is putting a spoiler on a car with no brakes. Get the foundation right, then the interesting work pays for itself several times over.
